I met Michael on a harrowing taxi ride from the Red Sea to Cairo. A kind man who has a professional quality in both his correspondence and photographs. It makes my knees shake that he wanted to share his work. He has given the project of A Different Shred of Skin a luminous light of hope in all of his pictures.
